Since my life completely revolves around cookies now, I couldn't say no when my little sister Liz invited me to a cookie-making party at her friend Brian's house. I also couldn't say no when I heard that we were supposed to wear christmas sweaters. So, pictured, is me in my lovely christmas sweater, carefully protected by a smock to make sure I don't get flour all over. Also, you will notice that one of the bonus features of Brian's house is the clearly labelled shitter.
Here's Brian, rolling out some cookies.
I think this is Jason, posing with the essential cookie making ingredients: flour, beer, and eggnog.
The results of our efforts. Cat, who was in charge of frosting, decided that the best colors for christmas cookies were white, red, green and brown.
Brown, in retrospect, was a questionable choice.
Although she missed the cookies, Lynn arived later in the evening, in time to watch the world premiere of Brian's documentary.
Sometime after that, we all went to a different party. This new party didn't have cookies or documentaries, but it did have better music.
Shortly after our arrival, a situation on the couch developed. In the foreground is our hostess, whose name I have carefully forgotten. Behind her, Dave, and somewhere in the middle, Brian again.
